Description
A graduate of the Ecole Nationale des Arts et Métiers in 1991, Vincent Lemaire has chaired SAFRA since 2007. He joined SAFRA in 1992 as its first engineer. He started in the company alongside Serge Bodoira, CEO of SAFRA, who quickly entrusted him with the position of Deputy Managing Director in 1996. Four years later, he officially became a shareholder of the company, as well than to the Board of Directors. In 2007, he was appointed Chairman following the restructuring of SAFRA's share capital, and also took on the role of Managing Director of the SAFRA Group. In 2013, he received the distinction of Knight of the National Order of Merit, in the category "promotion of work". In 2018, Vincent Lemaire was appointed Chairman of the SAFRA Group and its various companies, and in 2019 acquired the majority of the SAFRA Group's shareholding. Following the legal restructuring of the Group in 2019, SAFRA became a S.A. and Vincent Lemaire took over as Chairman of the Management Board. Vincent Lemaire is present in several regional and national associations, such as France Hydrogène as Deputy Regional Delegate (uses) for the Occitanie region and H2TEAM - platform on electromobility (and fuel cell energies). He is also a signatory of the Commitment to Growth
Verte Hydrogène, and leader of the “Hydrogen Bus” project in France. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the “Coalition Rétrofit H2” association.
