Julien Denormandie joined Sweep as Chief Impact Officer in September 2022. Former Minister of Agriculture from July 2020 to May 2022 within the government of Jean Castex, he previously held various positions within the Government of Edouard Philippe, in particular those of Secretary of State to the Minister for Territorial Cohesion Jacques Mézard, then that of Minister Delegate in charge of Cities and Housing until July 2020. Adviser to the Minister in charge of Foreign Trade, Nicole Bricq, then of the Minister of Economy and Finance, Pierre Moscovici, he became in 2012, deputy director of the cabinet of the Minister of Economy, Emmanuel Macron, until 2016. Engineer of bridges, water, and forests, he began his career on secondment to the Department of External Relations of the Ministry of Economy before occupying various positions at the French Embassy in Cairo and at the Treasury Department.
