Managing Director France, Ile-de-France & Territories Clément Michel has 24 years of experience in the passenger transport sector and the management of public transport networks. After a year and a half in China, he joined SNCF in 1999, where he held several operational positions, notably in Paris and Montpellier, and in 2005 took over management of the Paris-Gare de Lyon train station. In 2009, he became Operations Director of the Yarra Trams tram network in Melbourne, Australia, operated by Keolis Downer (a subsidiary 51% owned by Keolis), upon the start of this new contract. He was appointed Managing Director of Yarra Trams in 2013. At the beginning of 2016, he was appointed Chairman and Managing Director of Keolis North America (USA and Canada) where he will remain for 5 years. In 2021, he was appointed Director of Human Resources and Group Transformation. In addition to human resources, this division is in charge of the business project, occupational safety and health, and the sustainable development roadmap, the group's strategic development axis. In 2023, he was appointed Managing Director France, Ile-de-France and Territories. He takes responsibility for the Ile-de-France and Territories networks, Keolis Santé and Kisio Services & Conseil. Clément Michel is a graduate of the École Centrale de Paris and holds a Master's degree in development economics from the University of Essex (Great Britain).
