Isabelle Kocher de Leyritz has been Chairman and CEO of Blunomy since 2022. Blunomy activates end-to-end solutions to speed up transitions towards decarbonized, circular and inclusive business models. It brings together a unique blend of strategic thinking, financial engineering, business structuring, supply chain and coalitions engagement experience, data science, impact analysis and multi-faceted technical expertise in energy, carbon and resources. Isabelle was Chief Executive Officer of Engie between 2016 and 2020. Engie (formerly GDF-Suez) is one of world largest energy production and services group, with sales of €60bn, employing 160.000 people in 60 countries. Isabelle spent 18 years with Engie and was comprehensively prepared to address this tough industrial role : Head of strategy, CEO of the Suez Water business in Europe, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. She is widely credited for having successfully turned around the company. She set it back on track on a 6% organic growth trajectory (from a long term organic decrease), by fostering its transformation into an energy transition leader. During her tenure as CEO Engie combined Green energy transition with profitable growth: it reached a 50% TSR while cutting the CO2 emissions of the company by 50%. Isabelle started her career as a senior civil servant, a member of the powerful engineering grand corps, « the Corps des Mines ». She held various positions in the Ministry of Finance, ultimately as the member of the Prime Minister’s staff, in charge of industrial affairs. Isabelle Kocher has an extensive Board experience gained at AXA, Suez, Engie, Arkema. She also holds several non for profit board positions. Isabelle Kocher is a graduate from Ecole Normale Supérieure (Ulm), among the world best known scientific academies, she holds a PhD (Agrégation) of Physics and is a graduate from the Ecole des Mines de Paris. Isabelle lives in Paris with her children.
